Why choose the Maldives?

The Maldives are not just another diving destination; they represent a paradise for diving enthusiasts. Here are a few reasons why the Maldives stand out:

Variety of marine life: the Maldives are home to an impressive variety of marine life, from colourful coral fish to rare and majestic species such as whale sharks and manta rays.
Crystal clear waters: with visibility often reaching over 30 metres, the waters of the Maldives offer ideal conditions for both underwater photography and admiring the rich underwater world.
Accessible for all diving levels: whether you are a novice diver or an experienced underwater adventurer, the Maldives have a wide range of dive sites to suit every skill level.

What sets the Maldives apart is not only the chance to dive in crystal clear waters with temperatures that remain comfortable all year round, but also the accessibility of various dive sites suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced divers. The protected waters around the atolls are home to some of the most spectacular marine life in the world. Besides seeing marine life, the Maldives also offer the opportunity to observe rare and endemic species found nowhere else in the world. This unique combination of factors make the Maldives a top destination for diving enthusiasts looking for a diving holiday in Asia.

During this period, a diving holiday is ideal

In the Maldives, there are two main diving seasons: the dry monsoon and the wet monsoon. We dive in both seasons. From September to November and partly in February. Check our sailing schedule for a clear overview of all our trips. In these months, there is a greater chance of seeing manta rays and whale sharks. The plankton is there in greater quantities, attracting species like mantas and whale sharks. Nor will the weather disappoint you. With dry weather, clear skies and calm seas, it is the ideal time for a diving trip.
